one word~geese

she watched the geese as they flew away for the winter, to go somewhere south where it was warm and the food was plentiful. they mated for life, it was said... and with that, she wondered if the mate to the one she'd shot and planned on eating that night would grieve for a long time.

  4. am I sick and twisted for laughing? Yes this was a dark one. Killing a goose to eat isn't so dark but the mind that would wonder about the mate? Got to wander about that one...

  6. You’re back! I just got back (from being checked in I call it, when things go mentally kaflooey) and I’m pleased to see you slathered all over here. You have to know I dig this dark little number. I have a theory that humankind is not meant to be monogamous. Geese on the other hand, have just the evolutionary disposition for “marital” bliss ; )
